Welcome to Dommett Hill FarmWelcome to Dommett Hill Farm, nestled on the edge of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in Somerset, South West England. In prehistoric times the Blackdown Hills were home to dinosaurs. Today, the area is home to badgers, foxes, bats and roe deer, whilst buzzards and sparrow hawks glide over the Forest of Neroche with its trees of larch, douglas fir, mixed hard woods and soft wood plantations.
The breeding of two horned Jacob Sheep and the small but tough Shetland Sheep form the main part of our small, family run farm with other animals including ponies, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and pigs. All of our animals are raised as naturally as possible in the traditional way. No chemicals or pesticides have been added to our fields for over fifteen years. We rotate our livestock regularly and whilst munching happily they can all sit and enjoy the glorious views from our fields towards the Quantock Hills and Glastonbury and on a clear day the hills of Wales.
We hope you enjoy reading about our farm.
